NavExcel Search Toolbar Uninstallation Instructions
1. Add/Remove Programs The easiest way for you to remove the NavExcel Search Toolbar from your system is to go to your 'Add/Remove Programs' functionality within your Windows Control Panel. Within the 'Add/Remove Programs' interface, select NavExcel Search Toolbar and choose 'Uninstall.'
2. Manually Uninstalling NavExcel Search Toolbar If for some reason you are still having difficulties, the other alternative is to follow the instructions below to remove the NavExcel Search Toolbar manually. Make sure to follow the instructions very carefully and delete *everything* listed below:
A. Start the registry editor. This is done by clicking 'Start' then 'Run'. (The Run dialog will appear.) Type 'regedit' and click OK. (The registry editor will open.)
B. Please delete all of the following registry keys. Please note that those registry keys marked with an asterisk (*) may not exist if you have already tried uninstalling the NavExcel Search Toolbar using your WIndows Control Panel's 'Add or Remove Programs' feature. As a result, if you can't find the specific marked registry entry on your computer, then please skip the entry:

C. Please select the 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar' registry key in the left pane of the 'Registry Editor' window. Now select the Ò{5AA06644-BC46-4220-A460-47A6EB47C96D}Ó registry value in the right pane of the 'Registry Editor' window and press either the 'Delete' key or 'Backspace' key on your keyboard to delete this value.
D. Deleting Files and Folders
- Restart your computer.
- Double click on the 'My Computer' icon to view your computer's contents in a new window and then double click on the 'C:' icon to view the contents of your computer's hard disk drive.
- Now, open the 'Program Files' folder.
- Delete the 'NavExcel Search Toolbar' folder.
E. Verify that the NavExcel Search Toolbar is No Longer Installed on Your Computer
i. Checking Internet Explorer
- Open a new Internet Explorer window.
- Verify the NavExcel Search Toolbar is no longer visible in the Internet Explorer window. If the NavExcel Search Toolbar is still visible, then please contact NavExcel's Customer Support Team at help(at)navexcel(dot)com.
- Verify 'NavExcel Toolbar' is no longer listed in Internet Explorer's View > Toolbars menu. If 'NavExcel Toolbar' is still listed, then please contact NavExcel's Customer Support Team at help(at)navexcel(dot)com.
ii. Checking the 'Program Files' Folder
- Double click on the 'My Computer' icon to view your computer's contents in a new window and then double click on the 'C:' icon to view the contents of your computer's hard disk drive.
- Now, open the 'Program Files' folder.
- Verify that the 'NavExcel Search Toolbar' folder is no longer listed in the 'Program Files' folder. If the 'NavExcel Search Toolbar' folder is still listed, then please contact NavExcel's Customer Support Team at help(at)navexcel(dot)com.
iii. Checking the Windows Control Panel's 'Add or Remove Programs' List
- Open the Windows Control Panel and double click on the 'Add or Remove Programs' icon.
- Verify 'NavExcel Search Toolbar' is no longer listed in the list of currently installed programs. If 'NavExcel Search Toolbar' is still listed, then please contact NavExcel's Customer Support Team at help(at)navexcel(dot)com.

1. Add/Remove Programs The easiest way for you to remove NavHelper from your system is to go to your 'Add/Remove Programs' functionality within your Windows Control Panel. Within the 'Add/Remove Programs' interface, select NavHelper and choose 'Uninstall.' (Please make sure that you are looking for 'NavHelper' and not 'NavExcel').
2. Running the Uninstaller from Program Files folder The alternative method to uninstall NavHelper is to go into your 'Program Files' folder within your C: drive. Within Program Files, locate the 'NavExcel' folder. Within this folder (and within subsequent subfolders) should be a file called NHUninstaller.exe within the v2.04, v2.04c, or v2.05 subfolder. Once you find this file, please double click on it to run it.
3. Manually Uninstalling NavHelper If for some reason neither of the two methods above work, the other alternative is to follow the instructions below to remove NavHelper manually. Make sure to follow the instructions very carefully and delete *everything* listed below:

Now select the 'navapp' registry value in the right pane of the 'Registry Editor' window and press either the 'Delete' key or 'Backspace' key on your keyboard to delete this value. (Please note that this registry entry isn't always created and as a result, if you can't find this registry entry on your computer, then please skip to the next step.)
- Please select the 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce' registry key in the left pane of the 'Registry Editor' window. Now select the ÒNavHelperUninstallerÓ registry value in the right pane of the 'Registry Editor' window and press either the 'Delete' key or 'Backspace' key on your keyboard. (Please note that this registry entry isn't always created and as a result, if you can't find this registry entry on your computer, then please skip to the next step.)
D. Deleting Files and Folders
- Restart your computer.

E. Verify that NavHelper is No Longer Installed on Your Computer
i. Checking the 'Windows Task Manager'
- Press the 'Cntrl', 'Alt', and 'Delete' keys simultaneously to open the 'Windows Task Manager'.
- Click on the 'Processes' tab.
- Verify that 'navapp' is no longer listed in the list of currently running processes. If 'navapp' is still listed, then please contact NavExcel's Customer Support Team directly at help(at)navexcel(dot)com.
ii. Checking the 'Program Files' Folder
- Double click on the 'My Computer' icon to view your computer's contents in a new window and then double click on the 'C:' icon to view the contents of your computer's hard disk drive.
- Now, open the 'Program Files' folder.
- Verify that the 'NavExcel' folder is no longer listed in the 'Program Files' folder. If the 'NavExcel' folder is still listed, then please contact NavExcel's Customer Support Team directly at help(at)navexcel(dot)com.
iii. Checking the Control Panel's 'Add or Remove Programs' List
- Open the Control Panel and double click on the 'Add or Remove Programs' icon.
